Yesterday Ryan left ICU and now has a regular room in the step-down ward. He threw a ball yesterday and brushed his teeth a little. Please pray for his brain and lungs to heal, better heart and respiratory rate and better digestion with weight gain. His shoulder is still healing and he has some pressure sores. He spends some time sitting in a chair each day although with his therapies (physical, occupational, speech and also social and spiritual!). So he still needs much healing but he makes progress every day for which we are grateful.

So happy to hear that Ryan is making progress, slowly but surely! He and your family are on my mind and I pray everyday that he will recover from this tragic accident. Hope you all have a very Happy Thanksgiving. Don’t know if Ryan is able to eat turkey but just the fact that he is progressing is God’s work in progress. So thankful that you are keeping us all informed of his progress.

    Ed and Leslie,
I’ve been following your updates about Ryan… praising God for the progress he is making! We were just with Scott and Maggie in Rochester, MI 10 days ago. They had more information about all that had happened. We will continue praying for the entire family, but especially for Ryan!
